1/2 cup Saute 50 (replacing 1 onion finely chopped)
1 large carrot or 1 cup baby carrots
2 medium size tomatoes (pureed)
2 cloves minced garlic
1 tsp grated ginger
1 medium size potatoes
| 1 lb stew beef (alternative: pork, chicken, shrimp, or
none) |
4.4 oz (125gram) curry mix
3 cups water
1 tbs butter
2 tsp soy bean oil
Cut
carrots, potatoes, and stew beef into bite size. Saute carrots, potatoes, stew
beef, garlic, ginger with butter and soy bean oil in high setting until the
beef is browned. Add Saute 50, pureed tomato, and 2-1/2 cups of water and bring
it to boil. Reduce heat and simmer until carrots and potatoes are tender. Turn
the heat off and add curry mix and 1/2 cup water. Simmer in medium heat setting
for 10 - 15 min. Makes 4 - 6 servings.
*It goes very well with steamed rice and bread.
